Something I want to make clear:  I am NOT one of those people who habitually make resolutions about weight loss and then give up 3 weeks later.  I knew it was time for me to make the permanent changes I need again, and I’m really weird and big on things being symbolic and “perfect” so I decided to wait until January 1st to implement things I have done before, but stopped doing.  This isn’t just for this year, this is for life, and the beginning just happens to be 1-1-12!

Also, I will be making goals for me to follow each month.  It gives me something to work on small scale, so I can see changes over the long run.
