April 8th, 2012 (Easter Sunday)

Food:
-1 piece of toast w/pb, scrambled eggs, smoothie (blueberries, strawberries, banana, soy milk)
- oatmeal squares cereal w/soy milk
- baby carrots, cauliflower, broccoli (all raw), strawberries
- Easter meal: broccoli and cauliflower w/cheese, corn, green bean casserole, 3 buns
- sweet potato chips 

Drinks:
- 60 oz water
- 1 cup chai tea
- 3 glasses of asti

Exercise:
none (planned rest day!)

Goals:
Didn’t update before bed again lol, but made the rest!  I guess being at my parents’ I just forget to!

Personal:
It was a pretty good Easter!  Nothing out of the ordinary happened, I avoided all the chocolate, candy, and pies, and I got to eat cheese again now that Lent is over.  I think I’m going to try to still be as dairy free as I can, but I know I will def be having a pizza this week!

April 7th, 2012 (Saturday)

Food:
- 2 pieces toast (one w/pb, one w/jelly), strawberries, oatmeal squares cereal w/soy milk
- banana
- salad (spinach, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, snap peas, red peppers, raspberry vinaigrette); pasta w/red sauce
- chips w/guac and salsa

Drinks:
- 64 oz water
- 1 cup green tea
- soy milk in my cereal

Exercise:
- 4.75 miles running outside

Goals:
Forgot to update before bed, but did everything else!

Personal:
Had a real late start to my Saturday, pretty much did nothing but sit on the couch until around 3 which is when I went out for my run.  It was great, and I pushed through some pain to do the whole distance I wanted!  Then had a relaxing night at home just watching tv with my parents.  Not worrying about work for the weekend is so nice :)

Food:
- blueberry soy yogurt w/granola, kiwi, 2 pieces sprout wheat toast (one w/pb, one w/blueberry jelly)
- cinnamon almonds, piece homemade bread w/honey
- chips w/salsa
- burrito (rice, black beans, corn, tomatos, grilled veggies, guac)

Drinks:
- 1 cup chocolate soy milk
- 1 cup tea
- 40 oz water

Exercise:
- none (planned rest day!)

Goals:
Well, forgot to update before I went to bed.  

Personal:
Came home to my parents house for Easter, will be here until Wednesday I think!

- carrots, grapes, sandwich (sprout wheat toast, tofurkey, tomato, mustard)

- 1 cup green tea
-few sips of chocolate soy milk

Exercise:
none

Goals:
Meh, did poorly today.  no making bed, no cleaning up tonight.

Personal:
I am exhausted

Food:

- pasta w/homemade marinara sauce and black bean “meatballs”

- burrito (Amy’s vegan), sweet potato chips

Drinks:
- 1 cup green tea
- 60 oz water
- 1 cup chocolate soy milk

Exercise:
- 3 miles running on treadmill (w/.25 walking warm up before and .25 mi cooldown after)

Goals:
Didn’t make my bed again, but met the rest!

Personal:
I’m tired, but had a great day.  One of my students was featured on live tv this morning on the news for an interview about our organization, and a surprise picture of me was on there for a few seconds as well.  Running was hard today because I didn’t drink enough water during the day but I’m glad I stuck it out and did my 3 miles!  I made my lunch already for tomorrow, and now I’m doing to bed because I have an interview tomorrow, wooot!

Food:

- salad (spinach, red pepper, avocado, mushrooms, snap peas, cherry tomatoes, raspberry vinaigrette dressing)
- grapes, cinnamon almonds
- 1/2 banana
- amy’s vegan indian dinner, sweet potato chips

Drinks:
- 64 oz water
- 1 cup chocolate soy milk

Exercise:
- 15 min on elliptical
-lifting arms/back
  - all 3x8: bicep culrs (w/15 lb weights), tricep extensions (w/1 15 lb weight), seated row (50 lbs), shoulder press (w/10 lb weights), incline press (45 lbs), lat pulldown (50 lbs), reverse pull down (50 lbs), pull ups (100 lbs assistance), dips (100 lbs assistance)
- random ab stuff for 5 min (don’t remember what!)

Goals:
Didn’t make my bed this morning and it might be like 11:02 when I’m done with this, but met the rest!

Personal:
I managed to have a good work out, productive day at school, get time in the office, and do a bit of grocery shopping all while eating healthy foods, and getting to bed at a reasonable hour!  Hope this trend can continue!

Exercise:
- ran 3 miles outside

Goals:
well, not in bed by 11 (and don’t think I will be this week) but I was up at my office doing work, not just wasting time on the computer.  met the other ones though!

Personal:
Today was good.  students were great today, had a good run and felt like I was going a bit fast for me, and then got some good work done at the office.  Just wish I could fit it all in and still be in bed by 11!

Food:

Exercise:
none…Sundays are rest days with my new workout schedule!  Fridays are as well, but on one or both of those days I have the option to do yoga built into my schedule.  Half marathon training baby!

Goals:
the only one I’m not meting is getting bed before 11, but it’s cuz I’ve been up cleaning my room and stayed to update so I’m ok with that :)

Personal:
It feels good to be back on tumblr.  MY ROOM IS FINALLY CLEAN!  It was like an episode of hoarders for a good 2-3 weeks.  I had a path to my bed and piles of stuff everywhere.  So, I’m feeling good about that.  Tomorrow morning I’m going to grocery shop (or at least get something for lunch) because I have like no fresh fruits or veggies, as you can probably tell from what I ate today!

Food:
- scrambled eggs, pineapple, watermelon, mango (2 slices each of the fruit)
- vegetarian pho soup (Vietnamese noodle soup)
- piece of sprout wheat toast w/pb
- vegan refried bean enchiladas (corn tortillas, vegetarian refried beans, vegan cheese, enchilada sauce)
- bowl of dry multigrain cheerios

Drinks:
- 60 oz water
- 2 cups tea

Exercise:
- 5.13 outside (.28 walking, 4.08 running, .77 walking)

Goals:
Haven’t made March goals yet :-/

Personal:
Today was so beautiful!  The weather was amazing, the only bad thing was that it’s daylight savings so losing an hour.  I had a first date with somebody today and it went pretty well I think.  Then I came home and ran, and I’ve just been relaxing and watching The Wire since.  Need to clean my room since I moved, but what’s new with that?

-  burrito (brown rice, black beans, tomatoes, corn, guac, lettuce)
- stir fried veggies in sezchuan sauce, small quesidilla w/vegan cheese

Drinks:
- 50 oz water
- 1 cup green tea
- 1 cup soy milk

Exercise:
None, today was my rest day :)  But I walked for over an hour to various destinations

Personal:
Decent day.  Snowed though!

- baby carrots
- sezchuan veggies over rice
- veggie burger and side salad w/balsamic; 2 pickle spheres

Drinks:
- 50 oz water
- 1 cup green tea
- 1 cup chocolate soy milk
- 1 beer

Exercise:
- 3 miles on treadmill (.25 walking, 2.5 running, .25 walking)

Goals:
It’s March!  I have been very busy, making my March goals today!

Personal:
I was proud of myself for doing the running I was scheduled to do.  I ate a bigger lunch than normal and my ipod died after one song.  But I stuck it out!  Also trivia was pretty good this week and we didn’t embarrass ourselves, wooot!

Exercise:
- 5 min ellipitcal warm up
- lifting legs
  - 3x8 of hamstring curls (60 lbs), quad extensions (60 lbs), leg press (130 lbs), abductors (60 lbs), adductors (60 lbs), lunges (holding 15 lb weights), squats (holding 20 lb weights).  3x10 of calf raises (130 lbs)

Personal:
Didn’t clean room.  Tired.  Rawr

- blueberries, cinnamon almonds
- veggie sushi, 2 pieces of toast w/blueberry jam, small bowl black bean quinoa salad
- sandwich on whole wheat w/veggie pattie, lettuce, spinach, green peppers, pickles, bbq

Drinks:
- 60 oz water
- 1 cup green tea
- 1 cup chocolate soy milk
- 1 beer

Exercise:
- swimming (32 laps [1 mile]) 40 minutes

Personal:
Was planning on coming home and cleaning my room after work, but then got the chance for a free ticket for an NBA game so I went!  The seats were great and our team won!  I still was in bed before 11 but did not clean my room, again.

- 70 oz water
- 2 cups tea
- 1 cup chocolate soy milk

Exercise:
- 2.5 miles on treadmill (.25 walking, 2 running, .25 walking)

Goals:
I ate processed-free today!

Personal:
Same old sort of day as I’ve been having.  Went to bed pretty early which was nice.  I really need to clean my room!

- black beans and corn over brown rice w/vegan sour cream
- black bean & avocado quinoa salad, piece of toast w/blueberries

Drinks:
- 60 oz water (will probably drink more before bed)
- 2 cups green tea

Exercise:
Today was my rest day, but I walked for 40 minutes to get to stores and back.

Goals:
I cooked my new recipe for the month!

Personal:
Wish I had been slightly more productive, but overall it was a good day!  Walked to 2 grocer stores, cooked, cleaned, and watched the wire with one of my roomies.  Now involved in a religious discussion and will be going to bed soon!
